Symantec Corp. (NASDAQ: SYMC) recently announced the initiation of a permanent agreement for selling the information management company of the group, known as Veritas, to an investors group led by The Carlyle Group, together with GIC, the sovereign investment fund from Singapore and some other co-investors.
This transaction will be ended on January 1st 2016 in all the countries where the company operates.
Veritas solutions are available in Romania since 2000 and starting next year they will be represented and sold locally by a dedicated team, through the partners of the company.
