Today, May 13th 2015, SENT – the processing system for small-value interbank payments (under RON 50,000) in Romania, administered by TRASFOND, is celebrating 10 years of operating.
The commissioning of SENT system generated a series of major advantages compared to the manual processing of interbank payments by payment order and direct debit. The advantages impacted the financial institutions and can be summed up as follows: higher speed, increased security and substantially reduced costs.
