The retail trade turnover grew especially due to the growth in sales of food, beverages and tobacco, but also in sales of non-food articles and fuel.
During January 1st and May 31, 2016, comparing to the period between January 1st and May 31, 2015, the volume of retail trade turnover (excluding cars and motorcycles), gross series, grew by 18,4%, due to the growth in sales of food, beverages and tobacco (+14,8%) and the retail trade of automotive fuel in specialized stores (+9,1%).
