The recent negotiations with Electrica SA ( "Electrica") have not led to the conclusion of an agreement in connection with a potential transaction between the Fund and Electrica on holdings Fund of the four companies whose majority shareholder is Electrica, namely Electrica Distribution Transilvania Sud SA ( "EDTS"), Electrica Distribution Transilvania Nord SA ( " EDTN "), Electrica Distribution Muntenia Nord SA (" EDMN ") and Electrica SA (" EF ").
Greg Konieczny, Portfolio Manager of the Fund, stated: "Unfortunately, despite our sustained efforts and desire to find a middle way realistic, it was not possible to reach a satisfactory agreement on the price and to conclude a following negotiations with Electrica transaction. We believe that the offer of the Fund has been attractive and would be generated benefits for both sides. We maintain our commitment and willingness to resume negotiations in the future, whether there will be a similar commitment from Electrica."
