According to AGERPRES, the bio sector representatives requested to the Government the urgency approval of the National Action Plan for Organic Agriculture 2016-2020 and the granting of a minimum aid for farmers holders of meadows in the area of agri-environment, in total value of 500 euro for the farm of not more than 10 hectares, in order to stop the decline of the organic agriculture.
The Association Bio Romania and the National Federation of Ecological Agriculture (NFEA) organized on Wednesday a conference dedicated to identify some solutions in order to stop this decline and to achieve a target proposed by IFOAM-EU that until 2020 the average organic farming at European Union level to be 15 %.
