Alexandru Comanescu boasts over 11 years of experience in tax advisory, his competences covering indirect taxation (VAT, VAT refund, registration for VAT purposes), international taxation, mergers and acquisitions (including due diligence missions) for various sectors such as construction, renewable energy, chemicals, insurance, pharmaceutical industry. He is a certified tax adviser and member of the Romanian Chamber of Tax Consultants (CCF).

His area of expertise covers international taxation, direct taxation (corporate income tax, taxation of individuals, withholding tax, and local taxes), transfer pricing, mergers and acquisitions (including due diligence missions), tax auditing.
