The new provisions have entered into force with effect from 02.11.2015 and governing the management of packaging and packaging waste in order to prevent and/or reducing their impact on the environment.

In the Official Monitor has been published Law no. 249 / 28.10.2015, on how the management of packaging and packaging waste, which repeal HG 621/2005 concerning the management of packaging and packaging waste and transposing Directive 94/62/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on packaging and packaging waste (hereinafter referred to as the "Law").
