The international organisation Mazars, specialised in audit, accounting, tax and financial advisory services, which announced its recent local merger with the company Adevaris (thus strengthening its position within the German-speaking business community), continues to pursue its development strategy in Romania: with the arrival of Serge, Mazars further consolidates its long-standing ties with the French and French-speaking companies.
A Swiss national residing in Romania since 1994, Serge has accumulated a wealth of experience during his 28 years in the financial and business management sector, working for well-established multinational companies in Romania and other regions, and acting as director of a department offering support to foreign investors and SMEs within PricewaterhouseCoopers Romania (1996-1999). Serge has been an active participant in projects related to evaluations, acquisitions and major privatisation operations, and he was involved in several development projects in the industrial, commercial or real estate sphere.
A chartered accountant and financial auditor (in Switzerland and Romania), member of CECCAR and CAFR, Serge is a long-time member of several chambers of commerce, where he holds or he held the position of internal auditor (AmCham, CCIFER), of founding member or of member of the Board of Directors (Chamber of Commerce Switzerland - Romania). Serge also plays an active role within the Swiss Association in Romania and he is involved in many charity initiatives and charity organisations.
