Romania Spirits Association supports the tax cuts for spirits from the new Fiscal Code

Romania Spirits Association, representative organism of producers and importers of spirits in Romania, supports the reducing tax burden measures, as they can diminish fiscal evasion in this industry, without dropping down the state incomes from the taxes collected in this area.

"The reduction of the excise for spirits is vital for our sector, which from 2013, since the excise for etilic alchool grew up with 42%, is facing with significant loses caused by the unprecedented growth of the black market. By introducing this measure, by the new Fiscal Code, or by other legislative projects, represents a long-awaited correction of fiscal policies from 2013, whose effects were disastrous both for industry and for the state budget", said Florin Radulescu, the president of Romania Spirits Association.
