For 2012 the company's revenues totaled 913 million euros, a decrease of 2.6% compared to 2011, due to the impact of interconnection tariffs. Eliminating the impact of regulatory measures, Orange Romania's revenues registered an increase of 0.8% in 2012 compared to the previous year. The company income in the fourth quarter of this year reached 233 million euros, which represents a decrease of 2.7% compared to Q4 2011.
In 2012, the sales of smartphones increased by 110%, contributing to the growth of mobile data traffic by 83% over the previous year.The strong growth of mobile data services segment was driven by attractive offers and came amid investments in expanding the network and its quality.
