PARAPET EXPANDS ITS MANAGEMENT TEAM BY APPOINTING ROXANA GUREANU AS CEO AND ANNOUNCES A PORTFOLIO OF OVER 1 GW IN 2026

With solid executive experience and a professional track record built around projects worth more than 1.7 billion euro, Roxana Gureanu will be responsible for consolidating and expanding Parapet’s EPC activities at an international level

Parapet, an EPC contractor in the renewable energy sector, announces the appointment of Roxana Gureanu as Chief Executive Officer, marking a new stage in the company’s development amid accelerated growth and international expansion. With solid executive experience and a professional track record built around projects worth more than 1.7 billion euro, Roxana Gureanu will be responsible for consolidating and expanding Parapet’s EPC activities at an international level.

In the context of the accelerated expansion of Parapet’s activities on both local and international markets and the diversification of its business lines, the appointment of Roxana Gureanu as CEO represents a natural organizational step toward strengthening the company’s operational management and coordinating a sustainable growth strategy. In the past year alone, Parapet has nearly quadrupled its turnover and number of employees. This dynamic requires a stronger management structure to support the company’s strategic direction and the efficient management of our business lines. I welcome her to the team and am confident that her experience in the financial sector and in leading complex organizations will be a significant advantage for the next stage of Parapet’s development,” said Andrada Moldovan, Executive Chairman of Parapet.

Previously, Roxana Gureanu held the position of CFO at Sparking Capital and Managing Director of Habau Romania, part of the Habau Group, where she coordinated regional operations in Romania as well as in Serbia, Bulgaria, and the Republic of Moldova. She has been involved in major energy infrastructure projects in the Black Sea region, including within the RePowerEU initiative. She holds an Executive MBA from WU Executive Academy Vienna and a Master of Arts in Board Practice and Directorship from Henley Business School, being also a certified board member.

I am delighted to join the Parapet team, a company that has already demonstrated that a bold vision, supported by hard work and dedicated people, can generate remarkable results in the renewable energy industry. I bring with me more than two decades of experience in the financial and operational coordination of complex projects in the energy and national infrastructure sectors. Together with the team and the company’s founders, we aim to strengthen our presence in Romania, Germany, and Italy, develop strong partnerships, and deliver projects that matter—for our clients, for the communities where we operate, and for Europe’s energy transition. I firmly believe that renewable energy is not only about infrastructure and technology, but also about integrity, discipline, and real impact,” said Roxana Gureanu, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Parapet.

The appointment comes amid record growth for the company: for 2026, Parapet has a contracted portfolio of over 1 GW in photovoltaic, wind, and BESS projects. In Romania, the company is carrying out projects this year totaling 410 MWh in storage and approximately 700 MW of installed capacity in photovoltaic and wind.

In Germany and Italy—markets where the company has offices and local coordinators—Parapet has signed contracts for 217 MW in photovoltaic projects, delivered under light EPC or mechanical works scopes. This momentum confirms the maturity of the company’s business model and its solid positioning in European markets, at a time when demand for integrated renewable energy and storage solutions is growing rapidly.

Through its new leadership structure and record contracted portfolio, Parapet is strengthening its ambition to become a relevant local and European player in EPC services for renewable energy and storage solutions.

PARAPET is an EPC contractor for photovoltaic, wind, and energy storage (BESS) projects, delivering fully integrated engineering, procurement, and construction services. Since its establishment in 2012, the company has contributed to the installation of over 2 GW of clean energy capacity across 15 European countries, through EPC, BoP, and BoS services covering civil works, electrical construction, and installation. With offices in Romania (Cluj and Bucharest), Germany (Nuremberg), and Italy (Bergamo), and a portfolio of more than 450 photovoltaic, wind, and BESS projects, PARAPET provides comprehensive solutions—from design, engineering, and procurement to maintenance and repowering.
