Orange Romania is launching the Rakuten TV video-on-demand service directly integrated into the Orange TV Go app. Orange customers now have access to a portfolio of thousands of titles across all cinema genres.
Rakuten TV is one of the most popular streaming platforms, offering TVOD (Transactional Video on Demand) content. Through this collaboration, Orange customers will have access to a premium catalogue of movies that can be rented for digital viewing. Whether we are talking about Hollywood blockbusters or local premieres, classic films or recent cinema releases, Orange customers will have access to a portfolio of thousands of titles to suit all tastes.
Orange is the first operator in Romania to integrate Rakuten TV within its own services. It is now available on the Orange TV Go platform, which is accessible via the web, or as an app on iOS, Android, and smart TVs. The platform does not require a monthly subscription; users are free to choose which movies they want to pay for.
With the launch of this service Orange offers localized and market-adapted cinema experiences. The technical integration is carried out through Rakuten TV Enterprises, the company's B2B division, which provides end-to-end solutions for telecom companies and OTT platforms.
