The innovative material, called UPM BioMotion™ RFF, is a renewable lignin-based alternative to traditional carbon black

Nokian Typres, a premium tire developer and manufacturer of the first size, and UPM, a leading expert in the production of biomaterials, are starting a partnership to increase sustainability in the tire industry by introducing the first concept tire made with a new renewable material, with the potential to replaces a significant part of the carbon black currently used in tire production.
