More than 9,000 management positions available on eJobs.ro in 2018

The number of jobs for management positions increased in 2018 by about 10% over the past year, with companies outperforming over 9,000 such jobs.

The number of jobs for management positions increased in 2018 by about 10% over the last year, companies bringing more than 9,000 such jobs to the market. Most of these were addressed to experienced salespeople (2,016 jobs), logistics (1,166 jobs) or banking (713 jobs). The top of the areas for which was the largest search for managers in 2018 continue with food and HoReCa, marketing, procurement, construction, finance / accounting, engineering and IT.

"Like last year, sales dominate this top. The difference is that, unlike in 2017, the number of jobs for managers in sales has doubled. Quite a lot, in the rankings also increased open positions for those in food and HoReCa, IT and financial and accounting. All the signals we get from employers at the end of the year show that things will be as dynamic next year and that we will probably see even more impressive increases in IT, financial and, of course, again, on sales, "says Bogdan Badea, CEO eJobs Romania.

Regarding the salaries offered according to the geographical region, the best paid managers remain in Bucharest and Ilfov. The average salary for this professional level is 7,662 lei per month, according to Paylab.ro, the eJobs payroll comparator. The North-West Region of the country is the second most attractive area for managers, from the income point of view, with a salary average of 6,281 lei net.

"Cluj-Napoca is the city that raises this region very much, due to the explosion of business in the recent years and the fact that being a university center has a huge nursery of candidates. What is an argument that weighs extremely hard for companies that want to open a headquarters outside of Bucharest. For this reason, wages have increased exponentially here in recent years and, more positions are very close or equal to the capital " said Bogdan Badea.

Timisoara is the second city of the province that is trying to catch up with Bucharest in terms of wages and makes the Western region the third most attractive destination for managers, with a monthly salary of 5,975 lei per month. The top continues with the South (Muntenia) area, where the average salary is 5,866 lei and the center area (5,830 lei).

Revenue decreases significantly as we move to the eastern part of the country. Managers in the Northeast region report average revenues of 5,290 lei per month and 5,792 lei in the South East. The lowest wages are, however, in the Oltenia area (Southwest region) - 5,186 lei.

"On a more level, if we talk about the managers who receive the highest wages, the IT executives are best paying with a salary of 10,500 lei. They are seconded by the financial directors, who have a salary average of 8,900 lei, by the marketing and sales directors (with an average of 8,800 lei) and the managers of the logistics (8,200 lei) " adds Bogdan Badea.
