In the meeting of 30 January, the Supervisory Commission of the Private Pension System (CSSPP) approved the merger between Pensia VIVA private pension fund and ALICO private pension fund, shows a press release issued on Monday
"In recent years, the private pension market has been consolidated through mergers, as part of a natural process of evolution of the financial sector. As long as it does not affect the competitiveness of the system, this process helps stabilize the market, " said Marian Sarbu, President of CSSPP.
