Until 31st of July 2013, depending on the field, companies are invited to register for free at www.gbindex.ro and fill in online the assessment questionnaire referring to:
- Sustainable development
- Environmental impact
- Sustainable transport
- Use of resources
- Green procurement
- Waste management
GBI, at its 4th edition, is the only Romanian environmental performance evaluation free tool according to ISO 14031, a monitoring mechanism for green initiatives in the business Romanian sector as well as a technical assistance and training tool for improving the environmental performance.
“To support the companies that will be obliged to report their impact on community and environment, as per the expected new CSR directive of European Commission, this year GBI will provide related consultancy and training services. Thus, GBI can be used both as analysis tool and as reporting tool” declared Raluca Fiser, president of Green Revolution Association.
The data delivered by companies will be analyzed by a team of independent environmental experts after the registration and fill in period, The assessment will result in a top of environmental responsible companies from Romania. The companies that register this year will benefit from market research and specialized training.
The results will be announced in November, during the Green Business Index 2013 Gala, the most important national event for recognizing the environmental merits of companies. Nevertheless the results will be published in the Green Business Index Report and related publications.
In the 2013 edition, all companies registered will benefit from a free customized report on environmental performance.
