Mazars Romania announces the appointment of Razvan Butucaru as Financial Advisory Services Director. His role will focus mainly on developing the financial advisory services offered by the Bucharest office of Mazars.
Razvan Butucaru boasts over 10-year professional experience, consolidated during various complex audit and financial advisory projects. Before joining Mazars, he held the position of Internal Audit Director of Garanti Group Romania and previously was Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit Romania. He coordinated various audit and advisory projects for a wide range of clients, with a focus on the financial services sector: banks, insurance companies, pension funds, leasing and consumer finance companies.

The new Financial Advisory Services Director is member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and of the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania (CAFR). He holds a Bachelor degree in finance with major in Banks and Stock Exchange and a Master degree with major in Internal Audit in the Financial Services from the Academy of Economic Studies Bucharest. Razvan Butucaru has a strong expertise in the audits of financial statements prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards and Romanian Accounting Standards, regulatory consulting, internal audit and risk assessment practices.
