According to the registers found on the servers used by the attackers, the cyber criminals stole over half a million euros from the bank accounts within only one week. The first signs of the campaign were discovered on January 20 this year, when Kaspersky Lab experts discovered a command-and-control server on the internet. The server’s control panel indicated that the criminals were using a Trojan to steal money from the bank accounts of the clients.
