LaDoiPa?i, the franchise program developed by METRO Cash & Carry Romania, becomes the largest chain of proximity stores in the country, being present in each county in Romania. Two years after its launch, over 700 traders have adopted the LaDoiPasi business model.
Among the top counties with the biggest number of open stores there are: Constanta, with 47 stores, Brasov, with 42 stores, Bucuresti and Iasi, with 37 stores. Recently, Salaj became the 41st county where the LaDoiPasi network is represented, with the first store being open in December 2013.
Gilles Roudy, Managing Director METRO Cash & Carry Romania, stated: „Ever since its launch, the LaDoiPa?i program set out to support small independent merchants in developing their own businesses. METRO Romania’s experts offer advice to owners who are looking to enter the network, while maintaining their financial and administrative independence, and the positive feedback offered by LaDoiPa?i customers only confirms the results of this endeavor. We plan to continue developing even further this program and do whatever it takes in order to efficiently answer the business needs of our customers”.
The LaDoiPasi network offers traditional merchants the possibility to benefit from numerous advantages that help them increase their competitiveness on the Romanian market. METRO Cash & Carry Romania ensures support in a number of areas that have a major impact upon the development of their businesses, such as: training, consultancy throughout the partnership and marketing assistance. Moreover, METRO Romania issues advertising brochures and promotes fresh and ultra-fresh products, as well as private labels, which help differentiate these stores on the market and in the end-consumers’ preferences.
