Sandra Frunzulica joins the firm as a Managing Associate. She has more than ten years of experience in the legal profession and has enjoyed a high-profile career focused on corporate and commercial issues, mergers and acquisitions projects and life sciences regulatory matters.
She has a Bachelor’s degree (2012) and an LLM in Business Law (2013) from the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest, and an MBA Essentials from the London School of Economics and Political Science (2019).
During her career, Sandra has successfully advised a significant number of domestic and international companies operating in various industries. She has been involved in many complex projects, cross-border transactions and restructurings, also advising on commercial, corporate, contracts and life sciences related regulatory aspects. Her work includes due diligence analysis and drafting the whole spectrum of transaction and corporate documentation.
Sandra has also gained significant experience in the life sciences industry and has assisted multiple life sciences companies in matters related to the whole spectrum of legal issues occurring in day-to day business.
Sandra joins the M&A, Corporate, Commercial team, in which she will be involved in and manage a large number of projects, She will also support the team’s further development.
George Manea joins the firm as a Senior Managing Associate and Head of the Life Sciences, Technology & Compliance Practice of KPMG Legal Romania. He is well regarded in the legal and professional communities for his depth of experience in these areas and has worked closely with international companies carrying out business involving pharmaceutical and selfcare products, technology, data privacy, media and telecommunications, navigating them through complex regulatory matters and assisting with the implementation of emerging technologies, such as eHealth, Artificial Intelligence, ePrivacy or Blockchain based solutions.
George has also been considered a key contact for a significant number of high-profile international transactions, covering due diligence, negotiations and drafting of the transaction documentation for matters relating to regulatory compliance, data privacy and intellectual property.
George has a Bachelor’s degree (2013) from the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest and an LLM in Data Protection and Privacy from Dublin City University in Ireland (2022).
George will be involved in managing and supporting the rapid development of the Life Sciences, Technology & Compliance Practice.
