Kobi Dar is the new president of URBB

Starting with the first quarter of 2019, Kobi Dar took over as President of the UNITED ROMANIAN BREWERIES BEREPROD (URBB) beer company, known to the general public as Tuborg Romania.

The new President of the company has nearly 20 years of experience in the beverage industry, over 10 years of them involving top management positions.

Kobi Dar has also worked in Romania, within URBB, between 2005 and 2009, occupying the position of Vice President of Supply Chain during this period.

Kobi Dar graduated from Technion Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel, in 1996, and followed an Executive MBA at the University of Tel Aviv between 2003 and 2005. During the nearly 20 years of his career, Kobi Dar has held top management positions in various departments, from logistics, to operations and strategy, with extensive experience in the beverage industry.

Since its inception in 1997, URBB has played an active role in the Romanian society by offering the highest quality products, focusing on the use of innovation to deliver the best products to consumers in Romania, as well as to ensure a cleaner environment and a better lifestyle. The URBB brewery has a production capacity of over 2.4 million hectoliters, includes over 775 employees and annually contributes with millions of euros to the Romanian economy. URBB also provides over 4,000 jobs directly and indirectly through the dealers, distributors and suppliers.
