Intrapreneurship – an engine of innovation

Introduced in 1985 by Giffort and Elizabeth Pinchot, the concept of intrapreneurship refers to ‘individuals or groups of individuals exploring high-risk, high-reward ideas within the safety and support of a larger, well-established corporate structure.’

What do 3M Post-it Notes, the Sony playstation and the movie Apollo 13 have in common? The saying: ‚Failure is not an option.’ Each one of these three examples is a sucess story. What these stories have in common is the fact that their heroes overcame all obstacles, managed to redefine ordinary approaches, promote their ideas and get a happy ending.
