Intracom Telecom, a global telecommunication systems and solutions vendor, was awarded a new project for the supply of its Millimetre-Wave (mmWave) system, StreetNode™ V60-PTP, to the Greek Independent Power Transmission Operator (ADMIE) for the seamless corporate connectivity among its buildings at over 1 Gbit/s capacity.
The power operator was searching for a large capacity, free band solution that allows a parallel operation of the lines. At the same time, it required a lightweight, small volume system in order to achieve fast and easy installation. Within the framework of ADMIE’s demand, Intracom Telecom’s groundbreaking mmWave solution ideally addressed all the necessary requirements, offering effective functionality and special aesthetics that makes it blend nicely in the city environment. It should be emphasized that the operator has paid special attention to two important features of the system that played a critical part in the final decision; StreetNode™’s low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and auto-alignment.
The StreetNode™ V60-PTP V-Band product series, operating in the 57-64 GHz frequency band, can offer an industry-leading capacity of up to 1.65 Gbit/s and can support flawlessly street or rooftop-level installations, allowing for a faster, cost effective and error-free link deployment.
