Intesa Sanpaolo Group is consolidating its position among the leaders in the European banking sector, according to the annual survey of the research company Extel, previously known as Institutional Investor Research.

Carlo Messina received the title of the best CEO in the European banking sector for the seventh time since the introduction of this ranking, nine years ago. This constant recognition reflects the appreciation of institutional investors and financial analysts for his leadership and performance.
