Interbrands Orbico becomes the largest distributor of consumer goods in Romania, with a turnover of 800 million euros
The company brings customers an integrated portfolio of over 200 brands and 12,000 products in categories such as tobacco, perfumery, household, food and non-food
- The Orbico Group, owned by Croatian businessman Branko Roglic, is the market leader in the distribution of consumer goods in Europe, with an annual turnover of approximately 3 billion euros
- In August 2019, the transaction through which the Orbico Group acquired the majority stake of Interbrands Marketing & Distribution was completed
- In October 2021, the absorption merger project was completed, through which Interbrands took over the local companies of the Romanian Group - Orbico SRL, Orbico Beauty SRL and Professional Brands Marketing & Distribution SRL. In the near future, the company will operate under the name Interbrands Orbico
- Following the merger at local level, Romania becomes the largest and one of the most important markets in the Group, having the opportunity to capitalize on the increased potential synergies, investments and financial indicators, both for the benefit of the company and its partners
