EY will use new software solutions to improve inventory procedures. Using artificial intelligence, drones used in the auditing process will be equipped with new capabilities to recognize asset inventory identifiers.
EY has launched a globally applicable proof of concept (POC) project that aims to extend the use of drones in inventory processes as part of its own digital auditing capabilities. To improve audit quality, this extended pilot project will use a new technology to increase the accuracy and frequency of data collection in the inventory process.
