DHL Carpathian Marathon, the top mountain running event in Romania, reaches this year's number 10 edition. The participants will meet at the starting line on June 22, in the heart of one of the last wild regions in Europe, the Carpathian Mountains, at Keys of Gradistei - Fundata Resort, an Olympic-level Race Village.
After a 2018 SOLD OUT edition, before signing up, DHL Carpathian Marathon powered by MPG comes this year with new challenges, with unique experiences and adrenaline at maximum odds! Every year thousands of runners are expected, ambassadors and supporters, and the goal is to donate a larger sum to the National Paralympic Committee, the cause that the event sustains for the fifth consecutive year.

" is the message with which the event awaits all fans of running, whether beginners or professionals, to break down any mental barrier and conquer the mountains in one of the most spectacular running races in Romania! They will be able to explore unprecedented routes that cross natural parks and unique wildlife in Europe, some still undiscovered by runners.

From the first edition to the present, DHL Carpathian Marathon has set itself as a notorious event, with the number of runners going up to 8,200, while nearly 500 major companies have decided to join the teams at the start. The social cause represents, year after year, an important coordinate of the event. Until now, the full amount of the participation fees has been redirected to the sustained cause. The donated funds exceed 142,000 euros and were directed to the Casa Sperantei Hospice Foundation, the New Horizons - Family Association, the Light Into Europe Foundation, Save the Children Romania and the National Paralympic Committee.

All experienced or less experienced joggers are invited to visit the official website www.maratondhl.ro and to register individually or in teams for Marathon (42km / 2000m difference), Semimaraton ( 21km / 1000m level difference), Relay (in teams of 3 or 6 persons / 290m level difference for each 7km tour) or at the Children's Cross (250m, 500m or 1km distance, depending on age).
For enrollment, participants can enjoy a special price of 90 lei / participant, both for individuals and companies, by February 28th. After this date, the prices will be:
- For signing between 1 - 30 March: 110 lei / participant for individuals and 125 lei / participant for companies;
- For signing between 1 April - 31 May: 125 lei / participant for individuals and 140 lei / participant for companies;
- For enrollment after June 1: 140 lei / participant for individuals and 160 lei / participant for companies.
DHL Carpathian Marathon powered by MPG encourages companies to participate as much as possible at the event, enjoy a LIVE experience on the Carpathian Mountains and fight for noble causes, so this year they will be able to benefit from a personalized offer.

Surprises do not stop here! As in previous years, the event supports the sport and the harmonious development of children and young people, the move being an essential factor for a healthy lifestyle. Thus, all participants under 18 can enroll for free in the competition! They have the opportunity to participate in either the Semimaraton or the Race, or the races dedicated to children. The minimum age for available racing is 14 years for the Relay, 16 for Semimaraton and 19 for Marathon. Children aged between 5 and 13 can participate in racing for children.
DHL Carpathian Marathon's 2019 edition is organized in partnership with MPG Romania, the market leader in the sports projects segment for amateur participants, with a significant experience that includes organizing over 5,300 sporting events.
