In this capacity, Peter will work with the talented team of professionals to deliver quality service to clients.
Peter has provided audit and advisory services to a wide range of financial institutions, both in South Africa and abroad. His audit experience covers major commercial bank groups, local branches of international banks and smaller local banks as well as stockbrokers, investment funds and lease financing. His advisory experience in banking and treasury related projects includes implementing new accounting standards, investigating bank failures, designing risk-based capital models, and several other risk areas. He has also served as treasurer of a major listed mining house, risk manager of a niche bank, and financial director of a retail supermarket group.

During the last seven years, Peter held leadership positions within a Big4 in South Africa. He was previously a partner at Deloitte in the CIS and partner at a Big4 in Ireland. Peter is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Financial Accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa as well as a Higher Diploma in Banking Law from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. Peter enjoys motorcycling, computer programming, reading and traveling.
