In China, the company signed three contracts with Baoutou Iron & Steel with a total value of 13 million euros. The value of the contract signed with the Korean company Hunday Steel reaches 2.4 million euros and the most recent contract, with the steel plant Uzbek Combinat, which introduces Adrem Invest on the Uzbekistan market, reaches the value of 10 million euros.
“In 2013, exports will account for 50 percent of our business given if the turnover maintains the growth trend registered in 2012,” said Adrian Bodea, president of Adrem Invest.
The estimated turnover of Adrem Invest in 2012 rose by 37 percent to RON 171.1 million (around EUR 38 million). Most of the business was generated in Romania and exports reached RON 23.1 million (EUR 5.1 million). It had over 800 employees in 2011.
