6.5 million euro financing for the Competitiveness Pole

The first pole of competitiveness (a structure born by associating several companies, universities and public institutions) in the furniture industry contracted on Tuesday, 18/03/2014, a 6.5 million euros grant

Concentrated in the North-West of Romania, Transylvanian Furniture Cluster received funding for an integrated package of projects proposed in 2012, based on a development strategy for the next 10 years.

In Romania, there is no precedent in the implementation of strategic projects, regarding such a structure, with concrete contribution to a whole value chain.
