The Proleasing Motors Group, the four-time winner of the President's Award - the highest distinction for Ford dealers and twice the best BMW Dealer in Customer Care in Romania - in 2016 and 2017, will start in 2019 with two new Ford awards - "Excellence in Service" and " Best Transit Center Dealer " and announces the best performances registered by the division in question since 2009.
Established in 2001, Ford Proleasing Motors is the first car division in the Proleasing Motors portfolio, which today operates through a network of 3 showroom-service integrated centers in the counties of Prahova, Buzau and Dambovita.
Ford Proleasing Motors: 21% up from 2017. What did this performance bring?
If in 2017, Ford Proleasing Motors delivers 809 units to individuals and businesses, in 2018 the center's performance increased by 21% to 981 traded cars.
The Rabla Program also contributed to this increase, which made 65% more sales.
"These figures are in line with the Romanian auto market news, which in 2018 saw a 22% increase. For Ford Proleasing Motors, the sales trend continued, with a larger share of retail sales. Like every year, our priority has been and is to put our customers first, "said George Stanciulescu, sales director of the division.
National leader in sales of commercial vehicles
The beginning of the year brought two new awards to the oldest division of the Proleasing Motors group, which attests to the performance and services offered to the customers.
Thus, Ford Proleasing Motors holds a market share of 23.1% - in Prahova, which is above the national level of 16.9%.
This was achieved with the help of one of the most successful sales teams of commercial vehicles in the network and officially recognized by Ford Romania as "Transit Center's most advanced dealer" in the country.
At the same time, the constant investment in equipping the Ford workshop with the highest standards, the professionalism of the technical team, the sales of spare parts and accessories, along with the top quality of after-sales services, brought the department the same year's prize "Excellence in Service".

More funding for individuals. What preferences customers had in 2018
65% of Ford Proleasing Motors sales were made in the area of activity - Prahova, Buzau and Targoviste counties, and 20% were made in Bucharest and Ilfov, due to proximity and quality services offered. Unlike in the past years, funding for individuals has been more numerous.
In 2018, hybrid and environmentally friendly car sales have taken an edge, to the detriment of diesel. The figures are in line with the national level, where 60% of the market is occupied by gasoline engines.
Proleasing Ford Motors customers preferred also in 2018, Ford Focus models - 188 units sold, followed by Ford EcoSport - 147 deliveries and Ford Kuga with 107 acquisitions. The engine was chosen mainly EcoBoost 1.0 petrol product manufactured in the plant in Craiova. In terms of fleet sales, and in 2018 Ford Transit's preferred model of corporate clients was Ford. Thus, two major fleets - one of 29 units and another 32 - were delivered, along with a few tourists.
"For 2019, we estimate sales to remain on an upward trend of about 10%, in line with the national market and current socio-economic conditions. The increase will be sustained by the new Ford Ranger and new Ford Transit releases, as well as the maturing of cars released last year, such as Ford EcoSport and Ford Focus, "says George Stanciulescu, Sales Manager Ford Proleasing Motors.
This year, the company's priority is maintaining high standards, along with placing customers first and offering them personalized service.
