The value of initial public offerings (IPOs) on European stock exchanges in the second quarter reached the lowest level in the last decade

Stock listings on stock exchanges in Europe have reached their lowest level in the last ten years, registering a considerable decrease in the second quarter of 2022 compared to the same period last year, of approximately 80% in terms of the number of initial public offerings ( IPO), from 142 in Q2 2021 to 29 in Q2 2022, and a contraction of approx. 91% in terms of total gross IPO revenues from 23.1 billion euros in Q2 2021 to 2.1 billion euros in Q2 2022.
