Mergers and acquisitions in the financial services sector are expected to grow this year, continuing the trend of 2021, amid the process of transformation that this industry is under pressure from regulations, competition with fintech platforms, rising interest rates and digitalization, according to the PwC Global report M&A Trends in Financial Services 2022.
