The real estate sector has recently been subject to increasingly diverse challenges and tests, especially on the local market. Factors such as geopolitical instability, the elimination of tax incentives, the large budget deficit and inflation directly influence investor appetite. However, Romania's accession to the Schengen area, the return of a growing number of Romanians from the diaspora and the accelerated development of infrastructure contribute to the revitalization of interest in real estate investments. The Romanian entrepreneur, having reached maturity, has liquidity and expertise, perceiving real estate investments as a safe method of protecting capital, either through the acquisition of land or through the development of real estate projects.
