In 2024, the purchasing power of Europeans reached an average of 18,768 euros per capita, according to the NIQ GfK Purchasing Power Europe 2024 study. However, there are significant differences between the 42 European countries: people in Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Luxembourg have a much higher net income than in the rest of Europe, while the purchasing power is the lowest in Kosovo, Belarus and Ukraine.
