The percentage of Internet users who shop online monthly has increased to 66%, compared to 57% in November 2017, according to a study conducted by Exact Business Solutions in May 2019.
"The most spectacular increases come from clothing products (both clothing and footwear), cosmetics and perfumes, food delivery services and subscriptions to video content sites. Thus, if a year and a half ago, only 27% of Romanian Internet users bought clothes online, their percentage now rises to 45%. Shoe buyers now represent 37% of total Romanian internet users, up to 16% from the winter of 2017, " said Julien Zidaru, Managing Partner of Exact Business Solutions.
