According to AGERPRES, the data released on Friday by the National Institute of Statistics (NIS) show that a total of 54,700 jobs were vacant in the last quarter of 2015, up 2,200 compared to the previous quarter, while the rate of job vacancies stood at 1.21%, slightly higher than in July-September 2015.
According to statistics, in the fourth quarter of 2015, the highest rates of vacancies were registered in public administration (3.24%), health and social assistance (2.49%) and in other service activities (2.48%).
