The Romanian Brewery Association announces the evolution of the beer market in 2019:
- The volume of the beer market remained at the level of the previous year; recorded an evolution of only 0.4% in volume, reaching 16.7 million Hl
- Per capita beer consumption was 86 liters
- The segment of beer mixes and flavored beers increased by 32.5%
- The beer bottling reached a weight of 30%, increasing by 5.2 pp in the last five years
- PET bottling has decreased by almost 9 pp in the last five years
