A few months away from the appearance of the Government Emergency Ordinance (GEO) no. 69/2020, through which taxpayers can benefit from the cancellation of interest and penalties related to outstanding budget obligations on March 31, 2020, the Ministry of Public Finance comes with a new draft GEO, designed to combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, which generated financial difficulties economic operators in all fields.
