Romania and Bulgaria have the highest potential for development and innovation in the mobile payments segment, according to the study "The Impact of Innovation".

Romanians are regional leaders in terms of the number of persons owning more than one smartphone and using it for a minimum of 4 hours per day, shows the Mastercard survey, The Impact of Innovation.

Thus, among the 23 analyzed countries within the study, Romania and Bulgaria have shown the greatest potential for the development of the mobile payments segment.
