The software industry in Romania remains at the top of the key industries for the country's economy, with a volume of approximately 6.2 billion euros in 2019, according to the estimates of KeysFin specialists, it is one of the most balanced industry in terms of balance between the Romanian and foreign capital.
Thus, foreign investors control 53% of the positive equity capital of software companies in Romania, while the share of local investments has been an annual advance of about 5 percentage points, thus reaching 47% in 2018, according to KeysFin study "The Software Industry in Romania".
