The building materials market in Romania represents a sector of 4 billion euros (2019) of the economy that remains stable in the current context and has solid long-term development prospects.
Romanian building materials producers have so far, in the short term, been less affected by the impact of the pandemic than companies in other sectors of the economy. In the medium term, the evolution in this sector depends primarily on the financing and execution of infrastructure projects.
