The first half of the year brought 130,000 new jobs posted on eJobs.ro, a number that, compared to the same period last year, marks a 10% decrease. "We are talking about a first half of the year that came with many uncertainties, atypical contexts, but also measures, such as the Trenulet Ordinance, which led employers to put part of their recruitment plans on hold. All of this had an immediate impact on the labor market, and candidates had a smaller number of jobs available than last year. The second half of the year begins with better premises, which may lead to annual results comparable to those of 2024," explains Bogdan Badea, CEO of eJobs, the largest online recruitment platform in Romania.
