The oil imports of Japan dropped last year to its lowest level in the past 27 years as a result of economic growth reduced, but at the same time, the Japanese companies of utilities increased the coal imports, which reached a record, inform Reuters.
According to AGERPRES, the official figures published on Monday, Japan's oil imports decreased lastyear by 2.3% to 3.37 million barrels per day. Also, the electricity consumption decreasedfor the fifth consecutive year, to 866.26 billion kilowatt hours, the lowest level since 1998.
