Intracom Telecom Advances 5G Operational Efficiency

The Company participates in TM Forum Catalyst Project

Intracom Telecom, a global technology systems and solutions provider, proudly to announce its participation in the TM Forum Catalyst project titled "Holistic intelligence and GenAI to accelerate 5G monetization." This collaborative initiative, championed by key service providers including BT Group, Telus, Telecom Italia, Zain KSA, Econet Wireless, and Italian utility Bludigit, aims to address the complex challenge of monetizing 5G networks through Business-to-Business (B2B) services. The project focuses on ensuring high observability and automation levels for enterprise customers of Service Providers. The project was showcased during TM Forum’s DTW24 – Ignite event in Copenhagen.

By leveraging technological innovations such as GenAI, AI-driven automation and anomaly management, the Catalyst seeks to significantly enhance the quality and operational efficiency of service being offered to enterprise customers. Intracom Telecom is contributing to the project with its NFV-RI™ solution, providing multiple AI-driven features for dynamic power management in key 5G network components and dynamic consolidation of cloud-native workloads, as well as a Green Scoring capability to quantify the environmental impact and resource efficiency of 5G slices.
