In 9 months, Romanians made with 15% more electronic payments than in the entire year 2015

The number of transactions processed by NETOPIA mobilPay, the leader of the digital payments in Romania, in the first nine months of the year, exceeded the threshold of 3 million, with 15% more than the total number registered in 2015.

According to the data provided by the company, from the beginning of the year until present, about 30% of the total transactions of NETOPIA mobilPay have been carried out on mobile devices. The smartphones have been used in particular, their share of the total online shopping from the first three quarters being 26%, while 4% of the transactions were made on tablets.
