According to the EY Survey on interest on late VAT refunds, 65% of respondent taxpayers who are frequently in a VAT refund position request an effective VAT refund
Given that the vast majority (over 80%) of taxpayers face delays, generally significant, in obtaining a refund of the amounts of VAT due to them, a similar percentage (82%) have never requested interest.
