In March 2019, the Romanian Constitutional Court finds that a law aimed at limiting interest rates in the financial sector is unconstitutional, mainly due to the fact that the economic, social and legal motivation and substantiation of the solutions adopted [i] was not achieved, the law itself being considered unclear.
