At the end of July this year, the Council of the European Union granted Romania the derogation to adopt mandatory electronic invoicing, the decision being applicable for the period January 1, 2024 - December 31, 2026

• At the end of July 2023, the EU Council approved the derogation regarding the adoption of the generalized e-Invoice in Romania with applicability for the period January 1, 2024 - December 31, 2026. The national legislation is awaited, which must establish at least the date from which the e- Invoice and the categories of economic operators that must comply with the new rules
