The automotive sales registered an increase of 17.8% in 2016, compared to the previous year, but the forecast for 2017 shows that there will be a decrease of the market, because the environmental tax has been removed, without an equivalent replacement, according to representatives of The Automotive Manufacturers and Importers Association (APIA), during a press conference, reports AGERPRES.
Statistics also show that 2016 ended with a sales volume of over 142,000 units, figure which is very close to the one registered in the first year of crisis on the auto market, namely 2009, with sales of around 148,000 units.
